Project Specifications

  • The operating hours of the Botanic Gardens Park F&B Outlet should be kept within the operating hours of the Gardens, which is 5am to 12 midnight.
  • A Café (to operate in the morning and afternoon), Or
  • A Restaurant and Bar (to operate from evening onwards)
  • The Botanic Gardens Park café (operable in the morning and afternoon) shall offer a good selection of specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages. A good selection of food items suitable for breakfast and lunch shall also be made available.
  • The Botanic Gardens Park  restaurant and bar (operable from evening onwards) shall offer a variety of cuisines (in particular local/Asian and Western cuisines) to cater to the local and international visitors of the Gardens.
  • Alcoholic items,such as beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails, may be served as part of the menu, subject to the guidelines and approvals of all relevant government agencies and/or authorities.
  • The Offeror is strongly encouraged to tailor the menus to reflect the heritage and complement the status of the Gardens.
  • The Licensee shall have proven success in serving similar food menus in his/its business(es) and/or have an accomplished track record and recognition in the F&B industry, with at least 3 years of F&B experience.

Future Development

  • Botanic Gardens MRT Station would be an interchange station for upcoming Downtown Line’s Bukit Timah Section (expected 2016)
  • Upcoming attractions such as the Learning Forest and Marshland
  • Extension will include new amenities such as drop-off point and pick-up point and additional car parking facilities

Other Information

  • Tenure period: 3+3 years
  • Rent Free Period: 6 months or when business commences, whichever is earlier.
  • Not allowed to change the naming of the building (i.e. The Garage)
  • Name of the business/outlet shall have the format ‘at The Garage’ as a suffix after it (i.e. at The Garage)
